Erik and Dawn were able to feed Sweet Analise today with a bottle. She ate and tolerated 30 cc's of Dawn's breast milk, halfway to her goal of 60 cc's. Erik and Dawn are now "massaging" and moving her limbs. Analise's therapy has begun!!
More good news:
As Dr. Tiller predicted (remember him, "the smartest man in the world"), the brain scan was normal, the kidney scan was normal, and the biopsy of the colon was clear for genetic problems.
Analise is very gradually being weaned off the oxygen, and she will continue with her IV's until she is able to eat more.
A special exception was made to allow Abuela to visit today and she may possibly also be able to see Sweet Analise.
Kaley, Kyle, and Kassandra are here as well, and they will also be able to see and touch their baby sister.
In the fashion news, Analise will now be able to wear civilian clothes, so in her next photo ops, she will be looking pretty in pink. We also brought her some of the toys that were awaiting her at home. Since she is not in her new room, we brought part of her room to her.
